Arezoo Nikahd (b. 1979) is an Iranian painter and art instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the University of Art, Tehran. With over 28 years of experience in visual arts education, she has taught children, youth, and adults in Iran and Canada. Her work combines realism with surreal elements and explores human emotions, memory, and cultural identity. Nikahd is the recipient of the Art Renewal Center Purchase Award (2019) and has won awards at the MOD Portrait Competition in Spain (2012, 2017). Her artworks have been exhibited internationally, including in New York, Barcelona, Zaragoza, and Tehran, and have been featured in publications by the Art Renewal Center and Leonardo Art Books. She has also participated in two Sotheby’s auctions in New York, where her works were successfully sold.
