B. Forrest Sheperd is a classically trained artist and lives on an upstate New York farm.
He has always been a sketch artist and began painting in oils as a teenager in Westchester County, NY.
His work is inspired by the craftsmanship and traditional classic designs of the great masters.
From Van Dyke to Whistler, Forrest paints in a contemporary impressionist style.
He studied in the 1980s with Cesare Borgia at the Reilly League of Artists in New York.
