Short Profile:

Christa Jäger-Schrödl is a Franconian artist with a special passion for material structures and tactile art. Her artistic journey began with a degree in architecture, which shaped her sense of abstraction and form. Over many years in the advertising and PR industry, she developed a distinctive technique that weaves together various materials and textures into expressive collages.

With “Blind Date,” she launched her first barrier-free exhibition in 2016 at the bbs Nuremberg, an educational center for the blind and visually impaired. Since then, she has toured Germany with her works, inspiring audiences with a completely new way of experiencing art. Her creations combine visual and tactile elements, forming an inclusive art form that is accessible to everyone – regardless of their level of vision.

Christa Jäger-Schrödl ist eine fränkische
Künstlerin mit einer besonderen Leidenschaft für Materialstrukturen und
haptische Kunst. Ihr künstlerischer Weg begann mit einem Architekturstudium,
das ihr Gespür für Abstraktion und Form prägte. In der Werbe- und PR-Branche entwickelte
sie über viele Jahre eine unverwechselbare Technik, bei der verschiedene
Materialien und Strukturen in Collagen verwoben werden.

Mit „Blind Date“ startete
sie 2016 ihre erste barrierefreie Ausstellung im bbs Nürnberg, einem
Bildungszentrum für blinde und sehbehinderte Menschen. Seitdem tourt sie mit
ihren Werken durch Deutschland und begeistert Kunstinteressierte mit einer
völlig neuen Art des Erlebens. Ihre Werke verbinden visuelle und haptische
Elemente und schaffen so eine inklusive Kunstform, die allen Menschen –
unabhängig von ihrem Sehvermögen – zugänglich ist.
