I received great exposure to the fine arts, having grown up close to Manhattan, where I was exposed to museums. My high school art teacher pushed me to explore and improve my skills. I studied and achieved a B.S. in Fine Arts in college and then enrolled in classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Thereafter, I gained my teaching certification and a Master's degree and taught art for 17 years to K-12 students. I like all of it! watercolor, acrylic, printmaking, and illustrating!
