Roberto Litta, one of Italy's most prominent art critics, writes about the work of Snežana Pečujlija in Brera 2026:
In the work “Marlene,” Snežana Pečujlija presents a striking deconstruction of identity, where the female body becomes a fragmented territory of exploration. Using collage, the artist reassembles anatomical cutouts, glances, and floral details, creating a figure that dances between being and becoming. The composition plays with the balance of solid matter and emptiness, where essential lines intertwine with textured backgrounds and bold colors. The work conveys a complex femininity, capable of reassembling its unity from the beauty of fragments. Each piece tells a story of hidden strength and rebirth, recomposing itself with poetic care.
In July of this year, five of her paintings will be exhibited in Barcelona at the Top Selection exhibition of one of Europe's most prestigious art Salons. She has also received an invitation to participate in the prestigious Salon dedicated to Renoir from the renowned curator and art critic Salvatore Russo.
On the painting of Snezana Pecujlija, the prominent Italian art critic Freddo Neghin writes the following:
…I congratulate Snezhana on her works, they are truly wonderful. She possesses an original style and pays attention to every detail in the painting, so it is a pleasure to look at each of them…
