New life can only be created through female beings, human or animal. Sustainability of our planet is only possible if we protect the all natural sources of life, especially trees. Liesbeth depicts both aspects of these facts with a tree in the form of a female figure creating life.
Global environmental issues are the main subjects interesting the global community and Dutch Artist in her majestic work; Nature Is In our Hands' depicts that we humans are responsible in saving the planet from environmental destruction and cannot run away from our responsibilities pertaining to our continual 'raping' of our planet's natural resources.
