Shifa Mohiuddin is an Arabic calligraphy artist with strong cultural influences from her roots in India and Pakistan as well as Persian and Turkish art . She enjoys the acrylic medium in her works and seeks to find a balance between the West and East. She has a background in fine arts since her middle and high school years, where she was enrolled in Advanced Placement Art and Art History courses. The highlight of her career was in visiting the Louvre in France, Paris where she was inspired to continue creating masterpieces of calligraphy with Sufi influences from Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. She speaks English, Urdu, Arabic, and some Spanish. She resides in USA and UK with her family.
