Professional photographer living in Ramsgate via London and Lancashire. I am a graduate of Blackpool college and Lancaster University. I make images for the pleasure it brings me but also for clients that like my way of seeing the world. The Camera itself is not so important for me, it is a means to an end and I’m as happy using a camera phone as I am a pro large format camera.

My aim is to tell a visual story while charging the image with an emotional resonance that will engage the viewer. I am always trying to find magic in the everyday, by this I mean trying to keep creative possibilities open in my mind while out taking pictures, trying to be receptive to the possibilities that different subjects and lighting present. Light and a sense of drama are very important to me. I find Image-making is both a mediative and transformative activity, It is a moment when different elements intersect and creativity can be expressed.

B&W photography, Reportage and the Romantic art movement have helped inform my photographic viewpoint. I am looking to imbue my subjects with a mood or feeling of mystery in the familiar.
