Brazilian-born artist Cristina Kaschny has been a rising presence in the Miami arts scene since her debut in 2009. My work is a journey, a step-by-step unfolding of spirit. I don’t seek logic on the canvas—what I seek is freedom, where colors speak their own silent language and where abstraction and figuration dance together in unexpected harmony.

Each painting belongs to a story, sometimes standing apart, sometimes merging into a greater expression. What I love is that moment of enchantment—a first glance that captures you, colors that seduce you, and a spark of magic that lingers.

My eye is always searching, observing, carrying with it a deep affection for the world around me. That affection transforms into color, into visions—sometimes distorted, sometimes dreamlike—shaped not by rules, but by emotion.

For me, art is simply this: expression. And expression is everything.
