Michelle
Larsen, a visionary mixed media artist, harnessing the captivating
power of paper to sculpt intricate masterpieces upon canvas. Her
innovative technique involves the meticulous application of oil paint to
the paper sculpture, resulting in awe-inspiring three-dimensional
paintings that boldly protrude out four inches from the canvas surface.
Recognized for her distinctive artistic style, Michelle has garnered
prestigious awards and showcased her exceptional creations in esteemed
locales such as New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Dallas, and France.
Michelle
graduated from the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design in Denver,
Colorado, and began her career as a billboard artist and sign painter,
specializing in script lettering with a quill brush. As vinyl lettering
replaced traditional sign painting, she explored new creative ventures.
After closing her nine-year business in 2009, Creative Gift Baskets in
Boise, Idaho, Michelle took up painting for enjoyment. Her talent
quickly became evident, leading her to develop a distinctive
style—creating three-dimensional paintings through paper sculpture
