Kitty van der Linden is a Dutch Artist, who is born in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). She is specialized in ceramics and paintings. Her main work is made out of clay. After 35 years Kitty is still fascinated by this material and all its possibilities. She prefers to make masks with an Asian look. Besides masks, she also makes sculptures, helmets and torsos. Using various combustion techniques makes each ceramic piece unique.
Most pieces are made by Raku technique, which is an old Japanese method. She loves to use real stones and antique oriental jewelry in her art.
Kitty has had many exhibitions in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain over the years and is still exposing her unique artwork now a days.
