I have a series of representational and abstract landscapes.
This intuitive landscape is mysterious and otherworldly. A sense of uncertainty is created. What is going to happen here? Are those rolling clouds and rising mists signaling a glorious sunrise, or approaching chaos? Or is this a memory of a long ago place and time?
A seemingly never ending hike in Yellowstone National Park was the inspiration for this painting. We never saw another human or animal on this trail and it felt like we were completely alone in the world.
There is freedom in a limitless vista. Each horizontal space is a stepping stone to discovering what is beyond one's imagination.
