Brand new artist relatively late in life. Never contrived, discovered by lifelong passion and circumstance. Motivated by the struggles of my unfashionable home town and inspired by just some of the movies, music, the movers and shakers the art and culture of the 2nd half of the 20th century. '50 Nights In A Forgotten Town'. Not the 'past' nor 'nostalgia' but a focus on a defined era, a moment in time. Mapping a specific cultural moment by way of contemporary art, pub and bar culture and my personal recollection of it. Not reactionary or combative, more stewardship than critique.
