Fariba Ansari began her career as an Interior Designer. In 2000 she transitioned from design to art, which was always her passion. She is a modern contemporary artist who works with Acrylic and watercolor.

Fariba's art aims to capture movement, beauty and color which inspires her the most. She uses her brush to create texture and form.  Fariba also is a self taught calligrapher combining abstract art with Persian writing called 'Naghashi -Khat'.

She lives in Dallas, TX.
