Alexandra-Cecilia Ruja, better known as Alice Ruja, is a romanian emerging artist living in Iasi, works primarily with mixed graphic media on small size paper. Her practice creatively illustrates her inner world. The most intense emotions or personal revelations are visually translated with the scope of pure expression through symbolism. The work intends to aestheticize the unresolvable, the complexity of human experience, by playfuly managing the soft textures of graphic techniques.
Holding a Bachelor degree in Traditional Graphics at Iasi George Enescu Arts University in 2019, she only recently decided to enter the art scene through international participations in group exhibitions, earning a Debut Award in January 2026. While deeply atached to her intimate small dimention aproach, she's considering to explore alternative ways to share her artistic view.
