Konstantin Ivanovich Rudnev,

I graduated from an art school in Mariupol, graduated from the Azov State Technical
University, worked as a designer, translator from English, devoted all my free
time to creativity..I
n 2014, during a rally on Lenin Square, I proposed to
the mayor of Mariupol that instead of the fallen Lenin monument on the square,
the square should be decorated with white doves of peace and be renamed from
"Lenin" to "Peace", and these proposals were later
implemented.

The war and the destruction of the city of Mariupol
forced me to leave there. But first, like most Mariupol residents, I had to sit
in the basements for three weeks under bombardment, and thanks to the first
"green corridor" I managed to move to the city of Dnipro, and later
to the city of Kyiv.

In Kyiv, I participated in collective and personal
exhibitions:

2023 - “With a Brush Through Life” (House of the
Artist)

2024 - exhibition “Magic of the Brush” (House of the
Artist)

2024 - exhibition “Generation of War, Third Year”
(Central Park)

2025 - personal exhibition “Mariupol Timeless”
(Gallery “Artist”)

2025 - personal exhibition “Mariupol, Time and Other”
(Museum of Maria Zankovetska)

2025 - exhibition “Beautiful Dream” (Library named
after P. Tychyna)

2025 - exhibition “Strong Ukraine” (Museum of the
Hetmanate)

Currently I live and work in Kyiv.

I believe that each painting should carry some
important thought through symbols. I believe in life and the opportunity to
change it for the better, this is the pillar of my inspiration, which I would
like to wish to everyone who reads these lines.

Cold Start of the Year “Cold Start of the Year”

My new painting, "Cold Year," needs no explanation for Kyiv residents and residents of other Ukrainian cities. Let's just say it: the start of the "Year of the Horse" is very cold for us..
