Location: France

As a French-born teenager learning painting, from the moment I first read Rimbaud's "Voyelle Colors", I understood that colors would carry my voice in art. An international education( France, the USA, the UK) and life under different climates gave me the opportunity to explore nature in its variety and richness.
However I went down another road for my studies and professional life. A career in teaching ended with a doctorate in educational sciences.
Upon retiring, i was finally able to give way to my passion for painting.

My journey as an artist has been shaped by a fascination with the transformative power of color -  how it can evoke memories, stir emotions, and create connections that transcend words. Drawing inspiration from the intricate beauty of floral patterns and the spontaneity of abstract expressionism, I create paintings that are both structured and fluid. My work is a celebration of life's complexity : the harmony found within chaos, the poetry hidden in everyday moments and the vibrant tapestry of nature's palette.Through textured  brush work and bold, expressive color, I invite viewers to pause, reflect and find their own stories within my art. Each piece is and invitation - to remember, to feel and to connect.

After several exhibitions in : La Rochelle, France (as member of an artist association), St Savinien, France (solo in 2024 and with another artist in 2025) and Nice, France (gallery, 2024) I decided to join the Circle Foundation for Arts, based in Santa Barbara, California, USA.

In october 2024, the jury of this Academy granted me a "Masteful Mind" award. Then 2 of my paintings were exhibited at the New York Art Fair in novembre 2024. This was followed by a " Creative Excellence" award for 3 other paintings shown at the International Santa Fe Exhibition in New Mexico, USA, april 2024 ;  2 of my paintings were exhibited virtually on the Artavita World Wide Art stand during the International Art Fair in Amsterdam, 2024.The jury of Art Expo NewYork selected me as finalist in April 2025.

Flower Dreams Series

My dreams are inspired from Mother Nature' creativity, and nurtured by my imagination and fantasies. I use oils to convey sensuality and depth, rich and vivid colours sweep through the paintings to convey moods and atmosphere. I use the limitless boundaries of abstract expressionism, allowing me to travel easily between fiction and reality. Come and dream with me....

Il était une fois

On the age-old, erosion molded mountains of Alsace rest innumerable vineyards, and picturesque villages nestle comfortably in the valleys...dear memories I wanted to lay down on canvas, and join in my own way the song of the minstrels who travelled along the winding roads between the vineyards from town to village...

The Vineyard Gate “The Vineyard Gate”

Proud of its past, an old village has kept part of the fortifications and the gate that leads out to the vineyards.

Le poète Rimbaud parlait de la correspondance entre les couleurs et les sons, et en re-lisant ce magnifique poème il m'est venu de peindre une guitare qui chantait et vibrait au son de ses accords.

Room with a view

Living by the seaside myself, I felt compelled to present several views from inside a home, looking through a wide-open window at the sea view below.
Henri Matisse inspired me greatly for the interiors, I felt the need to add the presence of the sea in different moods. Of course, imaginary plants find cosily their place in the decor.

Liberation

Exploring the theme of a world with no chains, where freedom reigns

To the sea They Flew “To the sea They Flew”

Flowers and plants danse to freedom, escaping through an open window that shows a glimpse of wide open sea
