Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I am not a member of Artavita. How can I participate in the contest?

A: Sign up and then click on "Artists Contests" and then "Participate in this Contest".

Q: I am a member of Artavita. I am trying to sign in but I get an error message. What can I do?

A: Click on "Sign in" and then under the box "Forgot your password?" enter your email address. You will receive a message to reset your password. If you don't remember the email address you signed up with, contact us.

Q: How many images should I upload?

A: You can upload as many images as you want but you have to know that only images in the contest can win.
The more images you upload, the more possibilities to win!

Q: What about if I have less images in the competition but I am a winner? Can you ask me to send you more images after the contest is over?

A: No! We award only images entered in the contest. Not the artist's general portfolio. You cannot win with images that are not in the contest.
Make sure you participate with enough images so you can win the whole prize.

Q: My images don't upload. I get an Error message.

A: Your images are too big and the system rejects them. Make sure each image is less than 400 KB and in JPG format. If you don't know how to reduce the size, send them to us by email. We will send them back to you to upload them or if you prefer, we will send you a PayPal invoice and when we receive the payment we will enter them in the contest.

Q: I uploaded my images and I received a message that my payment went through. How do I know my images are in the contest?

If your images have been uploaded correctly and your payment went through, you will see your images on the contest entry page - click on "Browse contest entries". All the images entered are there, the most recent first. Scroll down to see earlier entries.

If this information is not enough, please contact us!
