Sinter/Center Series

These glass sculptures are made with crushed frit and powders in a kiln. Each piece is one of a kind, fired using sintering temperature la allows me to keep the ‘sugar’ texture.
I regard this work as a self portrait. After many years of reflection, I realize now, I am the jewel of the lotus. I recognize how self care and spirituality are tied together. With this series, a making meditation, I am finding peace.
