And because God created her and Satan possessed her, she has been from then on forever both sinful and holy, treacherous, faithful to good and evil. Delight, despair, smile and tear. Dove and viper, wormwood and honey, angel and demon, specter and miracle. The peak above the clouds and the bottomless abyss, the beginning and the end… this woman.
