The Layers of the Coffee Bean series explores the coffee bean not only as a symbol of transformation and connection but also as a carrier of hidden meanings. Subtle motifs are woven into the texture of the beans, evoking a sense of mystery and introspection. These elements invite the viewer to look beyond the surface and uncover deeper layers of meaning.
However, my exploration of coffee in art is not limited to depicting coffee beans. Some works express its essence through other symbols—such as a croissant or a cigarette—representing emotions, rituals, and memories. These connections offer new perspectives, revealing how everyday objects can hold profound significance.
Each piece in my work is part of a larger journey, where layers of visual and symbolic meaning intertwine, encouraging personal interpretation.
