A non-juried, open-walls, digital-printout exhibition. All work meeting criteria accepted. Deadline Jun 8, show Jun 25–Jul 19. The exhibition celebrates who/what we honor or admire and/or who/what we fear or disdain. We seek to present characters giving a view into our polarized consciousness about heroes and villains - and how you imagine yourself in that world of characters. Images in jpg format only, in any media that can be submitted in digital format. $15.00 entry fee per image. See prospectus at https://arcgallery.wufoo.com/forms/heroes-and-villains. ARC Gallery will print images out in a 9x12 format on 11x14 paper. Printed-out images will fill one exhibition space. Be sure your image can be printed 9x12 without getting cropped.

PREVIEW.SÜD Gallery in Karlsruhe, Germany presents an brilliant exhibition with artists from Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Italiy and Germany. You can see a bright spectrum of contemporary art going in dialog with each others nationality in the language of the arts. Art as a bridge and an 'act of understanding' in the difference and the common between foreign cultures is seen in the smart and tender arrangement of the wonderful works of the hungarian artists Fecsó Andrea and Mátyás Czanik, of Vlado Franjevic from Croatia /Liechtenstein, and of Renate Schweizer, Germany. The exhibition 'Artladung' is presenting the multiple voice of power in contemporary arts today in its best.
