"ONE SIZE FITS ALL" EXHIBITION

This annual show that is also a competition will be held at Thornton Gallery 298 Barton Street, Hamilton, New Zealand from the 8th July to the 5th August 2011. The theme of the show other than size of canvas/board at 25cm x 25cm square is open, so you will be treated to a huge variety of artworks in style and medium from artists all over New Zealand. The Exhibition does not have the usual opening night; instead there will be a Exhibition Closing night on the 5th August, 6-8pm. The public are asked to vote for their favourite piece for the second prize over the three weeks of the show and announced along with the overall winner which will be judged by two VIP guests. Recently finished this oil on stretched canvas which measures 24" x 30" and shows a very beautiful landscape of lush green meadows,trees blowing lightly in the breeze along a fenced dirt road leading off into the distance to a few homes nestled against snow capped mountains.
