The Cosmos Series focuses on celestial bodies we call stars, objects that humanity has wondered about and observed since the dawn of time.
Now we have large telescopes that can observe and photograph even the distant universe. We know that the light we call stars is actually part of vast galaxies and nebulae containing billions of stars and hundreds of thousands of planets. As we learn more, we realize that the universe is far more expansive than we can imagine and may be full of life forms we will never know. What an extraordinary creation and a perfect cycle. Yes, matter in the universe exists on Earth and in us humans. "Stardust." Yes, we are all part of the universe.
And some moments of this universe come to life in a completely different way on my canvases, through my colors, my brushstrokes—my interpretation. These works are the result of my curiosity and extraordinary interest. I want to instill this same curiosity in you.
