Exciting news! I'll be participating with three of my artworks in the exhibition taking place at Art Bar Grenada, in St George's, Grenada. I have never exhibited in the Caribbean isles before, so I can't wait to se my artworks there. The exhibition will take place from 1-31st of March 2025. Luxuriously unfurling and extending all petals and foliage, the bright warmth disarms any misgivings and tempts even the shyest from their night time closets. Some are stunned, standing upright, letting themselves ease into this rare reality. Others immediately bounce and prance, enjoying the day and exploring with excitement. The welcoming of these and all states in between is the true beauty of nature at it's most giving.
Feathery wisps of seed heads sweep up and around in the breeze, and catch in the vibrant petals as they flutter and dance. Too light and frothy to really give themselves a destination, they literally take life as it comes. These colourful landing pads are happy enough to have accents to show off their wondrous cheeriness. Everyone takes a breath and gets ready for another bout of the shakes, rattles and rolls as the next gust tumbles on in.
Surrounding crowds part as the bright petalled tongue unfurls, her presence at once the centre yet also appearing to affect areas unable to touch. Never failing to make an entrance, she sweeps and swishes as if a mermaid tail casting a wake in the waves.
L'oiseau chante apportant une atmosphère vivante et dynamique. Symbole de liberté et de communication, le bol au premier plan contient des émotions et des souvenirs en créant un contraste harmonieux entre le plumage chaleureux et la texture froide presque glacée. Le fond est neutre et met en valeur l'oiseau et le bol, dialogue entre le naturel et l'artificiel.
