BOAT AND SEA, KOLKA

Oil painting the Latvian typical landscape with sea, pigtails of an old and broken bridge stretching far into the sea. Waves and seagulls. I love the contrast in this landscape of a shallow beach, a white boat and a dark sky and water. In this painting, the sea distance acquires more mystery, magnetism and attractiveness. I really love the theme of the world. I will be tempted to watch the waves, wonder how the colours of the sky and the sea change, how sometimes it seems that there is no horizon and the sea goes straight into the sky. Only the cries of the seagulls bring me back to land. It has a sense of something very romantic, inspiring. It is close to impressionism style, with bright colours and warming mood. A HORSE

Oil painting with a Latvian typical landscape in the summer, with a sunny day, green bright grass, view at a field and a forest, and at a beautiful horse. I love horses very much. I feel it’s very strong energy. And believe that this animal can heal our souls. I remember how stress could make me feel angry, worried and sometimes even hate other people. But after being around horses, riding them for an hour, trying to make them my command, I was feeling very different. I was full of joy, very happy and no stress and angry feelings. It has a sense of something very romantic, inspiring. It is close to impressionism or expressionism style, with bright colours and warming mood.
