Artavita is holding a contest for the three most powerful works of art giving expression to the concept of "Hope", a simple word, but an extremely complex emotion.
We live in difficult times, beset by threats: pandemic, environmental catastrophe, war, and many others. And yet… Humanity has never had so many resources and so much knowledge. Our capabilities for good - and for evil - are constantly increasing.
But without hope we can do nothing. Hope is the first step.
We believe that art is one of the most important ways human beings can give expression to their perceptions, and also to create inspirations.
To this end, Artavita will award what we consider to be the three most compelling and thought-provoking artworks themed on "Hope". The entries do not have to be literally associated with hope. They can be concrete or abstract, symbolic or literal.
We will display the winning works and the following 57 awarded artists in a virtual exhibition in the Virtual Exhibitions section of the Artavita website, and also on social media. The three winners will also be featured in “Current Masters” Volume VI, the next book to be published by World Wide Art Books, this coming October 2022.
