Jason Graves

Jason Graves has been an artist since he could hold a pencil. He was admonished in his early years for drawing instead of paying attention in class. Fortunately, he found kindred spirits during his high school years and was accepted into the Georgia State College program for gifted young artists. While attending Pratt Institute in New York, he studied with Edward Dugmore and Jake Berthot, both luminaries of the New York abstract school. With the encouragement of these teachers Graves found his muse in the exploration of imagery translated into abstract forms, which he has followed since. Graves has exhibited at numerous galleries and venues in New York and Los Angeles.
