Joanna is a contemporary figurative artist whose work emphasizes emotion and subtle expression. Her work explores both traditional and experimental media, including oil, egg tempera, gouache, acrylics, watercolor, alcohol inks, and digital painting, often combining them in unconventional ways. She holds a BFA in Illustration with a minor in Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, graduating with the highest honors (SCL). She also completed studies in Publicity Design in Lima, Peru, and a Graphic Design Specialization at the California Institute of the Arts.
