Mariam Kandiashvili

Born in 1993 Tbilisi, Georgia. Mariam Kandiashvili started her education in visual art at the age of twelve at a private studio of famous Georgian artists Tamaz and Gia Khutsishvili. After graduating high school she continued her studies abroad. She took a contemporary art preparatory course at Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam. Later moved to England and studied illustration for two years at Arts University Bournemouth. In 2016 returned to Tbilisi and continued her artistic practice there. In 2019 she became the art director of Ardagi academic and experimental art studio which belongs to Georgian National Youth Palace. Since March 2021 Kandiashvili was hired on a position of art director at Georgian National Broadcaster.
